I am a professional tutor with 5 years of teaching experience, a strong engineering background in Mathematics and a genuine passion for teaching it well.
I have professional tutoring experience working with students across different levels — from foundational algebra to competitive programming and advanced mathematical reasoning. My experience includes training students for USACO (the USA Computing Olympiad), which requires the kind of rigorous mathematical thinking that directly strengthens performance in IGCSE and IB exams.
What sets me apart is the combination of three things most tutors offer separately: engineering-level subject knowledge, structured teaching methodology, and the ability to teach in both Arabic and English. For families in Qatar where students attend British or international schools but think and communicate at home in Arabic, this is a meaningful advantage.
I take a small number of students at a time to ensure every student receives the attention and customized plan they deserve. Parents can expect clear progress updates and honest feedback — I believe parents should always know exactly where their child stands and what the plan is.

My lessons are structured around one core principle: understanding before memorizing.
Many students in Qatar struggle with Math not because they lack ability, but because they were taught formulas without understanding where they come from. I fix that.
Every session starts with a short diagnostic — I identify exactly where the gap is, whether that's algebra, proof-writing, or problem-solving logic. From there, we build systematically. I use a combination of concept explanation, worked examples, and real past-paper questions from IGCSE (CIE/Edexcel), IB SL/HL, and A-Level syllabi.
Lessons typically follow this structure:
— 10 min: Review of previous material and any homework questions
— 30 min: Deep focus on the current concept, explained from first principles
— 20 min: Guided practice with exam-style questions
I teach in both Arabic and English — students can ask questions, discuss concepts, and think out loud in whichever language they're most comfortable with. This makes a significant difference for students at international schools where the instruction is in English but home thinking is in Arabic.
My target students: IGCSE (Years 10–11), IB Diploma (SL and HL), A-Level, and motivated secondary school students who want to genuinely understand Math rather than just pass the next test. I also work with students preparing for university entrance exams.
